How and why did it start ?
Aerospace global market forecast is based on standard economics
● No effect of climate change on the economics considered
● No effect of energy taxation & energy availability on aerospace market
● No coupling between energy production & economic growth
But…
● Aerospace is energy intensive
● Aerospace market is mainly based on business travel i.e. economic growth
Aerospace market was and still is potentially at risk…
We needed to better understand the inputs of aerospace global market forecast to assess
the risk: Global climate macroeconomic models.
But the model we studied (Standard ones) didn’t model all that we imagined…
Were we alone to believe climate macroeconomic models were lacking critical links ?

The “Green growth” envisaged in IHS, IEA and IPCC GDP…
… is probably overly optimistic
But to our knowledge: no model to answer to this …
we needed to develop one… (bold!)
